Why join HEEC?

The Highland Environmental Education Coalition is the primary source of support for the Highland Environmental Learning Center. HEEC provides funding and networking sources as well as the dedication of it's members towards a common goal: improving environmental literacy throughout Highland and beyond.

By becoming a member, donating goods, services, or funding, YOU become part of our family and part of the ELC.

HEEC members:

• are invited to attend all meetings
• receive early notification of upcoming events and programs
• can volunteer to help at the HEEC/ELC booth at public events
• can participate in annual ELC events including Earth Day and Eco-Gift Wrap
• automatically receive the quarterly HEEC newsletter

Educator Members:

• can borrow materials from the ELC Educator collection of books, movies, kits
• can request special programs from ELC staff

Community Partner     $250 (annual)

Lifetime Member         $150 (one time)

*all fees collected go towards HEEC and ELC programming and exhibits
