The Highland Environmental Education Coalition (HEEC) was established in 2003 to support the Highland Environmental Learning Center in their endeavors to support the County Library mission by supplying resources necessary to provide free environmental programming and workshops to improve environmental literacy and awareness in the community.
HEEC is registered as a non-profit, charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. This means for individuals and organizations within the U.S., donations to HEEC are tax-deductible.
